Omar Abdullah to remain MoS
external affairs

National Conference president Omar Abdullah proposes to go to Jammu and Kashmir, but for the time being he will retain his portfolio of minister of state for external affairs, sources said on Monday.

"Abdullah has not resigned and he will continue in the Vajpayee government," the sources said.

Yashwant Sinha, who has taken over the external affairs ministry from Jaswant Singh, will now have two deputies -- Abdullah and Digvijay Singh.
