The case RC 68(a) pertains to withdrawals of over Rs 370 million through fake and forged allotment letters from Jharkhand's Chaibasa treasury.
Laloo, who is currently lodged at Beur jail in Patna in connection with case no RC 63(a), did not appear in the court citing poor health.
His counsel Chittaranjan Prasad Sinha informed the court that Laloo was suffering from acute cervical spondylitis and had been advised rest and restricted movement by the doctors.
Jagannath Mishra, a co-accused in the case, however, made an appearance in the special CBI court.
