Terrorists massacre eight persons in Rajouri

Terrorists gunned down eight persons, including four women and two children, in village Bhambal Narala of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday night. Six others were injured in the attack.

Police said that the terrorists forced their way into two homes and opened indiscriminate fire at the inmates.

"Eight persons died on the spot and 6 received injuries," a senior police official said.

The victims have been identified as Ashok Kumar, Madhav Ram, Jyoti Devi, Bimla Devi, Babli Devi, Shakuntla Devi and two children -- Chottu and Babu in the age group of 3-6.

Three of the injured were airlifted to Jammu for specialised treatment.

No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
