Kashmir Committee chief Jethmalani calls on President

Ram Jethmalani, who heads the Kashmir Committee, on Wednesday called on President A P J Abdul Kalam and apprised him of the talks he had with various groups and individuals during his recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

He also informed the President of the next round of talks the Committee is slated to have with various groups ahead of the assembly election in the state.

A Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman described the 25-minute meeting as a courtesy call.
