Fire at arms depot in Jodhpur

A fire broke out in a dumping yard in the Jodhpur ammunition depot on Friday evening, official sources said.

The fire, which broke out at 1840 hours IST, was brought under control and there were no reports of casualties, the sources said.

The cause of the fire, the fourth such blaze at army depots in Rajasthan, was not immediately known.

Train services between Jodhpur and Jaipur were disrupted after the fire, the sources said.
