Ropar District and Sessions Judge Maggar Khan rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Randhir Singh Gill alias Dhira, a Markfed employee based at Ludhiana, and Prem Sagar, owner of a petrol pump at Moga.
Superintendent of Police (Vigilance) Jaskaran Singh said in Chandigarh that the hunt for Dhira, Prem Sagar, Shamshir Singh, a veterinarian based at Panchkula in Haryana, and G S Manchanda, an alleged hawala operator, was continuing.
Excluding Sidhu, the police have arrested three persons in the case. They are Jagman Singh, Paramjit Singh Gill alias Pammi and Surinder Kaur Manchanda, wife of the alleged hawala operator.
Movable and immovable assets worth Rs 25 crore [Rs 250 million] have been recovered so far.
