Demand for Modi's ouster to
be discussed in Goa: PM

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday said the demand of some National Democratic Alliance partners for removal of Narendra Modi as Gujarat chief minister would be discussed at the Bharatiya Janata Party's national executive meeting beginning in Goa on Friday.

"Goa mein vichar hoga (this will be considered in Goa)," Vajpayee told reporters in reply to a question on the demand for a change of leadership in violence-ravaged Gujarat.

The prime minister said he would like to take the views of his colleagues before making any comment on the Modi issue.
