Rabri Devi apprehends threat to Laloo's life

Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi on Monday night apprehended threat to the life of Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and her husband Laloo Prasad Yadav, claiming the commandos deployed for his security have been withdrawn, and Laloo forcibly lodged in a camp jail.

Rabri said, "Laloo was without protection in the camp jail decided by the Jharkhand government, even as the state Chief Minister Babulal Marandi was away in New Delhi."

"The Jharkhand government would be responsible for any untoward incident," she added.

Rabri Devi also asserted that there was no threat to her ministry. "I enjoy support, and ministers and MLAs are there with me and the government will function smoothly," she said.
