17 hurt in Jammu explosion

Seventeen people, including special police officers and village defence committee members, were injured in a bomb explosion outside a police station in Doda district of Jammu region on Tuesday, official sources said.

The blast took place near Kishtwar police station when a group of SPOs and VDC members were moving in the area, the sources told PTI, adding that 17 people received splinter injuries.

The injured were rushed to hospital, where the condition of two persons was stated to be critical.

Police and security forces have sealed the area.
