Official sources said on Wednesday that the security around all American establishments was further beefed up as police was yet to probe the entire ramification of the conspiracy hatched by Sudanese national Abdel Raouf Hawash and his two Indian accomplices Shameem Sarvar and Abbas.
They said the trio had allegedly enrolled some more recruits in Bihar and Udaipur to carry out the blast. Police has already sent teams to Bihar and Rajasthan to nab other people connected with the conspiracy.
Meanwhile, police have established the real name of the Yemni national, alleged to be a henchman of Osama bin Laden, who contacted Hawash in October last year posing as Abdul Rehman Hassan Mohammed Al-Safani. He is believed to be part of the team that carried out an attack on US ships in Yemen last year.
His passport number has been identified and this could lead the police to the date of his arrival in India.
