Special Cabinet meeting to discuss quake

A special meeting of the Union Cabinet has scheduled for Friday evening to discuss the damage caused by the earthquake, particularly in Gujarat.

The Cabinet has been convened at 1700 IST at the prime minister's official residence, 7 Racecourse Road, to discuss the extent of damage caused by Friday morning's earthquake, and to suggest relief measures.
