IAF copter with six crew missing since Feb 26
from Arunachal Pradesh

An Indian Air Force helicopter with six crew members, including two pilots, has been missing since February 26 afternoon, Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri district Keshav Chandra said on Wednesday.

Chandra told PTI over phone from Ziro, the district headquarters, that the helicopter dropped rations at Tali at 1515 hours (IST) on the fateful day and went missing within 15 minutes.

A round-the-clock search operation involving the police and Assam Rifles jawans besides local residents was on, Chandra said adding no wreckage was found so far.

All the crew members were defence personnel, he added.
