Lashkar denies involvement in terrorism

Following the freezing of its assets by the United States, Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Tayiba on Friday denied it was a terrorist group.

Denying any involvement in the December 13 terrorist attack on Parliament, a spokesman said the outfit would continue to fight for the 'liberation' of Kashmir.

He asked India and the US to provide evidence of its involvement in terrorism.
