Explosives contained in car yet to be defused

The process of defusing the explosives contained in the car used by five terrorists to enter Parliament for today's attack continued till late on Thursday night, Delhi Police sources said.

The explosives contained in the white Ambassador car, suspected to be weighing many kilograms, are enough to cause considerable damage, and hence all precautions were being taken, they said.

Meanwhile, bodies of all the five terrorists, who participated in the attack and were killed in the process, were removed from the Parliament House complex.

The bodies, which were scattered in the Parliament House compound, had grenades in the bags carried by them, they said.

They added that at least two explosives were defused by controlled detonation.
