Bandh affects normal life in Nagaland

Normal life was hit in most parts of Nagaland on Friday due to the 24-hour bandh called by the Naga Students Federation, official sources said.

They are protesting against the Centre's decision to limit the ceasefire with the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) to the state.

The bandh also affected life in the hill districts of Manipur, reports said.

No untoward incident was reported, the sources said.

All shops and business establishments downed their shutters and vehicles went off the road in Imphal, they added.
