The Union government on Sunday indicated that dialogue on Kashmir might start next month, but maintained that ''peace talks would be with groups in India'' and there was little possibility of any dialogue with Pakistan.
Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani said: ''We have already decided who will hold talks and how to proceed with it. We do not propose at the moment to hold talks with Pakistan.''
In an interview with Karan Thapar to be telecast on BBC on April 4, Advani said the actual talks might be conducted by someone else, but ''I would certainly be monitoring the course of the talks as the home minister.''
Advani said the government was determined to pursue the peace process in Jammu and Kashmir.
