Three Pakistanis, one Thai arrested for attack on Chhota Rajan

E-Mail this report to a friend

Police in Thailand have arrested four persons believed to have been among gunmen involved in an attack on gangster Rajendra Nikhalje alias Chhota Rajan, police sources in Bangkok said on Wednesday.

Police said they had arrested three Pakistanis and one Thai national in connection with Friday's attack on Chhota Rajan.

On Friday, gunmen burst into an apartment in central Bangkok and shot Rajan, man Rohit D'Souza, and D'Souza's wife. D'Souza was killed while his wife and Rajan were seriously wounded.

Police said one of the arrested men had confessed he had been sent to Thailand to kill Rajan.

The counterparts in Bombay are reportedly on their way to Bangkok to help the investigation.
