Muslims to offer prayer at Ajmer dargah for PM's health

A special prayer will be held on Tuesday at the famous dargah of Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz at Ajmer for the good health of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose knee will be replaced at the Breach Candy hospital in Bombay on Tuesday.

The prayer meeting will be held before the evening namaaz by distinguished ulemas and religious leaders of the Islamic Council of India, along with representatives of the Dargah Committee.

Qari Mohammed Mian Mazhari, chairman of the council and head of the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation will offer a special chadder at the mausoleum of the Sufi saint on behalf of the prime minister's son-in-law, Ranjan Bhattacharya. The prayer will be led by Qari Mazhari and Sayyed Ghulam Kibriya Dastgir.

Food will be also distributed to the poor on the occasion.
