At least five policemen were killed when suspected tribal Bodo militants raided a police outpost late on Tuesday night at Rupsi in Assam.

Those killed were inspector M Kalita, sub-inspector K Kalita, and three havaldars, Sunil Roy, Nripen Roy and D Yadav.

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot, and further details were awaited.
