Message: sir, I feel that if CTBT issue raises during the Clinton visit then India should not sign on that issue since from few years back only India is developing nuclearly. India has began to prove itself. It is establishing its own identity. In this situation it is not right as I feel to sign on the CTBT.

And in the end i express thanks to pres. clinton for visiting our country.

Message: well, I clinton's visit can be termed as an indication from USA to recognise india as one of the developing & powerful markets. I would attach economic reasons for the same. Visit to Pakistan should not affect India in any way as it could just be a protocol. I feel this is not politically motivated.

Message: The visit by mr. Clinton is crucial. 1. This is a first visit by an American president after a gap of 22 years.

2. When India has emeged as An Atomic state.

3. When there is a tension in the sub-continent after Pak has tested nucleur Bomb.

4. Everybody is looking at India as the future Superpower.

5. Also, US want to enter in the Indian market as well.

Good luck,

India should think of becoming the superpower in next century and remain independent in it's decisions. Pakistan has broken the Simla agreement and it should be punished so that next time our enemy should think one thousand times before intruding in India. No Compromise at all.

Message: I see the President Clinton's visit to India as an open acceptance of India as an emerging power by the Americans. It is a matter widely known but openly accepted only a few. The US also acknowledged the contributions to their country by Indian countrymen in the fields of technology, education, business, etc. The current visit to India by an American President after several decades is seen as the beginning of a long-term commitment to share the unlimited possibilities of co-operation and development in various fields to be benefited by both these peace-loving world demoracies.

My heartfelt felicitations on the occasion of these visit by the president and wish the discussions between them result in the Indians gain more credibility among the world powers and bring an end to the irritating neighbours jealous intentions once and for all. Indians knowing the strength of their mighty power looks with pity at their troubled neighbours who needs to learn what are lacking behind before they strain themselves to stand up and bark without even taking time to earn proper care for their innocent people. The world knows where India stands and what they are cable of doing. Long live the united India and long live the democracy.

Message: CLINTON: FROM MEDIATION TO MEDITATION

Two thousand years after Alexander the Great comes Clinton the Great on 21 march which happens to be Osho's Enlightenment Day.

When Alexander came to conquer India, his Master Aristotle told him to bring a sage with him when he returns from India. Alexander could not return with a sage or seer because none would agree at that time.

Clinton can fare better.

When President Clinton was going through his worst political crisis because Monica Lewinsky affair, a journalist jokingly gave him Kama Sutra, which he returned it right away. Instead of Kama Sutra I suggested another significant book to him, that too from India. It was Tantra Sutra, Lord Shiva explaining 112 techniques of Tantra Meditation to transform sexuality into Superconsciousness. Osho's commentaries on this small book Vigyan Bhairav Tantra is titled as The Book Of the Secrets also available through Amazon.com I sent him this book and he thanked me for the book. This year, the last year of his presidency, President Clinton is very busy in his mind mediating between the so-called enemy countries like Pakistan and India. But next year when he takes 'sannyas' from the White House he will need a book of Meditation.

Mediation is for the world and Meditation is for oneself. With mediation Clinton has tried to solve so many problems but everything comes to nought. All achievements are going to prove illusory. Mediation does not work but meditation is going to work at least for himself.

Osho said, "Mind opens outside: meditation opens inside. Mind is a door that leads you outside in the world; meditation is the door that leads to your interiority to the very innermost shrine of your being. And suddenly, you are enlightened."

So this time when he is in India, I would like to offer him another Osho book: Meditation: the First and

From indias point of view it gives us an oppurtunity to get back on trac with the long standing relations.Due to this our stand in the global artena would be more wide spread. The lifting of santions is benificial to india.Investements for sectors like I.T would come in. I conclude by saying that, in the years to come it would India a lot . thank you arun.

Message: The visit of Mr. Clinton will not come as a boon for the millions of the people who r unemployed, or those people whose struggles for a meal a day or for those who r deprived of their own fundamental right which is due to the ills of democracy. The People who r going to be benefited r the Business groups that too the bigger ones and thus our crooked politicians.

This kind of visit is especially meant for nothing except signing on some useless documents on Cooperation and understanding which never materialises.

Indo-American relation will never be smooth till America pulls out of itself from its ally Pakistan. Secondly, if Indian politicians try make some kind of indent towards the relationship with America, then it will be doing by the virtue of forgetting the thousand of innocent lives of our jawans and the People who r fighting in Kashmir.

Message: My take on the Clinton visit

Bill Clinton...the man will be out of office in a few months but Pramod Mahajan types will think that they have cracked the geopolitical balance of the world with a stray handshake...

The other things that will make national news are the following

a) colour of napkins that Hillary liked in Agra

b) Bill Clinton really liked Jaipur special sweets and ordered two packets extra

c) Laloo will say something

d) Pritish Nandy will take offence

e) Chelsea will be photographed taking a photograph of cow on street- next morning TOI will do piece on that ...

2 hour visit for Bangladesh will do loads for their national psyche...

The same old paradox regarding various protest groups that dot the road when somebody famous from the West visits, will be enacted... Each of these organisations believes that we are a nation with its destiny in its own hands and therefore independent of western influence. Then why is it that at the time of a British/American visit they feel the need to protest? If we are that self-sufficient, these visits should be redundant or ineffectual right?

Other than the needless details that are splurged a cross the national press- a considerable amount of interest is also generated in security arrangements.

A B grade publication will indicate how a C grade actress has had a love child with a security man (fourth from left in TOI pic)- this will add fuel to the never ending leftist rant who shall jump to declare the town the actress hails from as the the new Vietnam...and so on and so forth.

Jaswant Singh will have his own agenda. The man is articulate but deep down has never been able to forgive western powers for downgrading him from a King with a 12 gun salute to a King with 3. It is remarkable that we have a foreign minister whose only qualification is eloquence. .....

INDIA is giving USA LOTS OF TECH. oppurtunities. Message: So if Pakistan is to be declared a "terrorist state", or it is "exterminated" , India's problems will be solved???

How gullible can we be?? Come on guys...compared to our problems of a highly corrupt and ineffectual judiciary and police (besides the politicians off course)...the Pakistanis look like innocent harmless kids!!

We as a people have nothing to gain from Pakistans misery..just as the Pakistanis have nothing to gain from our misery.

How successfully have our politicians distracted us from the main issue of corruption....on which they fight and win elections. What is the media doing. Has everyone suddenly become blind??

I would say forget Pakistan...our biggest enemy is our redundant and corrupt judiciary. Get the judiciary right and the rest will follow (even Pakistan...as most of it is politically motivated in any case!!)

Lets get our due!! Otherwise just tell me..supposing Pakistan goes up in smoke tomorrow..no Pakistan!...how will our life become better??

Please respond. And if you agree please help spread the word , so that our Mr.Prime Minister does not get away from his real responsibilities!!

Jai Hind!

What'z this, in your visit to India, Pakistan can do anything... a gunman executed an estimated 40 Sikh civilians in India's disputed northern territory of Kashmir, you just don't say it the brutal crime. We can still have peace in the region.

Name:Sandra R. Shroff
Email: shroffsrs@yahoo.com
Message: So long as Clinton tells Pakistan that they should also work on peace, it is good that Pakistan is in cluded in the visit.

It would put Pakistan too much in the corner if it were excluded, that is never a very good position, it is better to talk.

Indo/US relations, were low, really low, as a result of preaching on both sides.

The approach that Clinton has taken will go a long way in paving the way to better understanding, and relations, even if Clinten is a lame duck.

Hopefully US will understand that India has 6% of the environmential liability, and 26% of the population, and the US has only 6% of the population, and that populaton is responsible for 26% of the green house gases, and environmental degradation.

It is time US realised this and stopped bullying countries like India into cutting back on green house gases, if they want India to move ahead the US will have to help, not as a charity but as a payment for all the damage they have done.

We welcome the small sum of money that Clinton has pledged to provide new technology for improvement of Indian industry.

If help is not forth coming India will develop new technology its self, but it will take time, but, not as long as the West has taken to deveolop such technology.

India has a tremendous resource of excelent brains, and inspite of all our educational defficiencies, it has huge well educated population, who are well versed in basic maths and science. This asset is our future.

Message: I strongly beleive that Indian subcontinent is potentially the most dangerous spot in the world today. This is primarily because of the unstable military in Pakistan. Unstable governments usually take unpredictable actions in order to stabilize their power in their own constituency. Given this I do not think President Clinton has any choice but to visit both the countries. The trip will provide a window of opportunity for both the counries to develop close relationship. Both India and US have mutual need. India also holds a strategic advantage for US as it is a viable alternative to China which is lkely to be bulligerent as it amasses economic strength. US needs India and of course India needs US.

Message: Blunder by our PM .

I was listening to President Clinton speech given at R Bhavan and an Indian lady reporter asked a question. Clinto said if our PM wishes to address that question but it seems that he declined not knowing clinto was trying to save the Indian reporter;s face. Eventually clinto had to answer but asked the lady to repeat the question again as the reporter had strong Indian accent. Our prime Minister should have taken that question and answered but failed to act. What a shame for our PM. No wonder we are a poor nation. PM like those shows clinto thta we have no spine.

Also why in the hell the Indian newspaper sent someone who cant speak good english to ask question. You see on Zee Tv many time those dhoti babus speak in English and I fail to understand what they are talking about.

Also our babus need grooming lessons. Most of the in dhoties have hair style like they jumped out of the bed and start giving speeches. Look at our defence miniser in pyjamas and uncut hair. Our PM also has hair sticking out of the ears and looks like he doesn't have money for haircut. The whole world sees us on TV and wonder what we have to offer. Image is very important if we have to survive globally. Indian women wearing sport shoes with sarees or a dark skinned girl wearing a thick dark saree in the middle of summer.Men wearing suits with sandles. Come on Indians wake up and stop moving your head while taliking to foreigners. They think we are about to perform Kathakali dance routine.

In movies they are dancing in the snow in sarees. Look at PUKAR movie. May be we can fight at Kargil in sarees. A grooming school should be started and all politicians should be made to go there.

One should not forget that Pakistan's Nuclear prgramme (military component)is a direct result or a reaction to indias detonation of nuclear device.
