Government to cremate unclaimed bodies

Our Correspondent in Patna

The Patna district administration has announced that two bodies of victims of Monday's plane crash, which have not yet been taken away by relatives, will be cremated by 1400 IST on Wednesday if they remain unclaimed.

The bodies have been kept in the autopsy ward of the Patna Medical College Hospital.

According to District Magistrate Amit Khare, the bodies appear to be of B B Saha, a National Thermal Power Corporation official, and M Gupta of the Reliance Group. The bodies have been burnt beyond recognition.
