5 injured in Jammu grenade attack

At least five people, including a girl, were injured when unidentified militants hurled a grenade at a public telephone booth in Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening, officials said.

They said some militants hurled a powerful hand grenade at the booth on the main road in Bhaderwah at around 1815 hours (IST).

They said the grenade exploded injuring five people, including an eight-year-old girl, whose condition is said to be critical.

The injured were admitted to hospital, they said.
