Russia deplores J&K killings: PTI

E-Mail this report to a friend

Russia has deplored continued terrorist killings in Jammu and Kashmir and has asked the 'whole civilised humanity' to join efforts in combating the scourge of terrorism.

"We, with full resolution deplore the new acts of terror in India and believe that the whole civilised humanity must unite in combating the terrorism not depending on its motives and slogans to cover it," Russia's foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement said Moscow deeply regretted the continued terrorist acts in Kashmir mainly targeting civilians.

"The killing of about 100 people heading for Hindu holy places in Jammu and Kashmir is proof of this," it said.
