Mohammad Fazal to be sworn-in as Goa governor tomorrow

Mohammad Fazal, former member of the Planning Commission, who has been appointed the new governor of the state of Goa, will be sworn-in tomorrow at 1800 hours.

The governor-designate will arrive tomorrow afternoon from New Delhi, before which the outgoing Governor Lieutenant General (retired) J F R Jacob will swear-in three Bharatiya Janata Party ministers and leave the state to take up his new assignment as the governor of Punjab and administrator of the Union territory of Chandigarh.
