Bandh cripples normal life in Srinagar, elsewhere
Normal life was today crippled due to a bandh call given by the All Party Kashmir Hurriyat Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association in protest against the ''unwarranted use of force'' by the Indian military on the infiltrator hide-outs in the Kargil sector.
Shops and business establishments in Srinagar and other major towns remained closed and transport was off the roads. However, three-wheelers were plying on some routes.
Attendance in government offices was also affected and all educational institutions remained closed.
