Cold nights in Rajasthan

Cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of Bihar and west Uttar Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in southwest Rajasthan, north Gujarat and Tamil Nadu and in parts of Orissa, Konkan, Rayalaseema and of south interior Karnataka, and were below normal in madhya Maharashtra, coastal and north interior Karnataka and Kerala, and in remaining parts of Orissa.

They were appreciably above normal in parts of Assam and Meghalaya and of northwest Rajasthan and were above normal in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and in parts of Himachal Pradesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
