Mithi allocates portfolios

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mukut Mithi today distributed portfolios among his six-day-old council of ministers.

The chief minister has retained power, science and technology portfolios.

Lijum Ronia becomes the new home minister while Tako Dabi retains charge of the education department.

L Wanglet is the new finance minister and T L Rajkumar the minister for irrigation and flood control.

Nabum Tuki heads the forest and environment department while Makeng Dolo retains the public works department. Kento Ete is the rural development and panchayat raj minister and Tadar Tanyiang the agriculture minister.
