Himachal, Kashmir may have more snowfall

Rain or snow is likely to fall at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers is likely to fall at a few places in Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha and at isolated places in the Bihar plateau, east Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Orissa, in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, and Gujarat. They were below normal in some parts of Kutch and central Maharashtra.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Kashmir, north-west Rajasthan, and east Madhya Pradesh. They were above normal in some parts of Haryana and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Night temperatures were normal in the rest of the country except for Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana from where data were sparse.
