Cool nights in Bihar, Gujarat

Night temperatures were below normal in parts of Bihar plains, Gujarat, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

They were above normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Madhya Pradesh, and in the remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh.

They were normal in parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir, south Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and in the remaining parts of Gujarat.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in west Madhya Pradesh and at many places in east Rajasthan, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, south interior Karanataka, at a few places in Vidarbha, Telangana and Kerala, and at isolated places in east Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Rain also occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Kerala, and at a few places in Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, east Rajasthan, central Maharashtra, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
