Four hijackers identified as Pak nationals

Four of the hijackers on board Flight 814 have been identified.

Their names have been given as Ahmed Shaikh, Ibrahim Mistry, S A Qazi and Saeed Akhtar Saqid.

All of them are said to be Pakistani nationals. The name of the fifth hijacker, considered a Nepali, is not yet known.

The hijackers took over the aircraft soon after it took off from Kathmandu on Friday, and so far have been indulged in an eyeball-to-eyeball with the Indian government over the release of a Pakistani terrorist who is spending time in a Jammu jail.
