North-East to get more rains

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim and Orissa, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, the north plains of Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, and at islolated places in the south plains of Uttar Pradesh, hills of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, south Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Lakshasdweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Southwest monsoon has been active over West Bengal and Sikkim. Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Bihar plains, at a few places in Orissa, Bihar plateau, east Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and coastal and south interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, east Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
