Monsoon rages on in parts of Bengal, Sikkim...

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plains, east Uttar Pradesh, hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Punjab, at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan and Goa, central Maharashtra and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plains, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside west Rajasthan, where it will be mainly dry.
