Dave sworn in as Arunachal governor

Former Research and Analysis Wing director Arvind Dave was today sworn in as governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

Dave succeeds Lieutenant General (retired) S K Sinha, the governor of Assam, who was holding additional charge of Arunachal Pradesh after the retirement of Mata Prasad.

Guwahati high court Chief Justice Brijesh Kumar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dave at a simple function.

State Chief Minister Mukut Mithi, his cabinet colleagues, and opposition Arunachal Congress leader Gegong Apang were among those present on the occasion.
