5 nominations filed on first day in Rajasthan

Five persons declared their candidature for four assembly seats in Rajasthan on the first day for filing nominations for the November 25 election.

An independent candidate filed his nomination from Sumerpur in Pali district while four nominations were received from Banipark (one), Bassi (two) and Bairath (one) in Jaipur district.

As per the programme released by the Election Commission, nominations can be filed till November 6.

Polling will take place on November 25 between 7 am and 5 pm IST.
