RJP to ally with RLM for assembly elections
The Rashtriya Janata Party will field candidates in alliance with the Rashtriya Loktantrik Morcha (National Democratic Front) for the assembly elections to be held in four states next month.
RJP general secretary Vishnu Pandya said in Ahmedabad today that a meeting in this regard was held at Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, under the chairmanship of party president Shankersinh Vaghela.
Party leaders from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi also participated.
Madhu Deolekar (Madhya Pradesh), Pandya (Delhi and Rajasthan), and Sarvanand Sonowal (Mizoram) will prepare the RJP's list of candidates before holding talks with the RLM and releasing the final list.
