Suraj Mandal urges people to defeat RJD in Koderma

E-Mail this report to a friend

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Soren president Suraj Mandal today called upon the electorate of Koderma assembly constituency to defeat the Rashtriya Janata Dal in the November 25 by-election for the latter's alleged stand against the creation of Jharkhand.

Addressing the media in Ranchi, Mandal said the JMM-S had decided to support any party that was in a position to beat the RJD in Koderma.

Questioning the justification of the proposed 24-hour strike-cum-blockade on November 30 and the 100-hour economic blockade from December 1, called by some pro-Jharkhand parties, Mandal said such agitational programmes should have been called after the winter session of Parliament when the Centre failed to bring the Bihar State Reorganisation Bill, 1998, and get it adopted during the session.
