Kanshi, Mayawati, Arif Khan in BSP list for Uttar Pradesh

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Kanshi Ram, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati and former Union minister Arif Mohammad Khan figure in the list of party candidates for the 85 Lok Sabha seats from Uttar Pradesh.

Notable among the candidates announced by BSP vice-president Mayawati in Lucknow early on Wednesday morning were former Lucknow mayor Dauji Gupta (Lucknow), Nav Prabhat, son of former Union minister and Congress leader Brahm Dutt (Tehri Garhwal), former minister in the 1991 Kalyan Singh government Harak Singh Rawat (Pauri Garhwal), former minister in the Congress government Muid Ahmed (Sultanpur), Akbar 'Dumpy' Ahmed (Azamgarh) and several former ministers of the Mayawati government and legislators.

The list also includes Hari Prasad alias Ghamanadi Kharwar (Robertsganj), a Bahujan Samaj Party member of the state assembly, who is currently lodged in Mirzapur jail.

The BSP list for Uttar Pradesh is: Nav Prabhat (Tehri Garhwal), Harak Singh Rawat (Pauri Garhwal), Jeevan Sharma (Almora), Sardar Nirjan Singh (Nainital), Munshi Ram Pal (Bijnaur) and Hasan Ansari (Amroha).

Rajaram Saini (Moradabad), Abduss Salam (Rampur), Budhsen Khadagvanshi (Sambhal), Brijpal Shaky (Budaun), Om Prakash Kashyap (Avanla), Abran Kumar Gangvar (Bareilly), Anis Khan (Pilibhit), Mangal Singh (Shahjahanpur), Shiv Kumar Maurya (Kheeri), Daud Ahmad (Shahabad), Premnath Verma (Sitapur), Ram Shanker Bhargava (Mishrikh).

Ehyam Ahrafash (Hardoi), Salikh Rram Rawat (Mohanlalganj), Mohammad Mmuim (Unnao), Ramesh Kumar Maurya (Rae Bareilly), Mohammad Naim (Amethi), Muid Ahmad (Sultanpur).

Mayawati (Akbarpur), Ram Nihal Nishad (Faizabad), Ram Dulare Rawat (Barabanki), Fareed Mahfooj Kidwai (Kaisarganj), Arif Mohammad Khan (Bahraich), Ashfaq Ahmad (Balrampur), Sant Ram Tewari (Gonda), Lalmani Prasad (Basti).
