BJP, Trinamool finalise seat-sharing

The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress have finalised seat adjustments for the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal.

BJP state president Tapan Sikdar said his party will contest 15 seats and leave the remaining 27 for Mamata Banerjee's newly formed party. The BJP conceded some seats, particularly in Calcutta to the Trinamool Congress.
