Lok Sabha adjourned sine die

The 12th Lok Sabha's winter session was adjourned sine die following uncontrollable pandemonium from non-Congress Opposition members.

The Rashtriya Loktantrik Morcha and Left members, shouting against the Bihar Reorganisation Bill, 1998, came to a standstill when they heard the abrupt rendition of Vande Mataram, signalling the end of the session. They looked around at one another in surprise and stood in rapt attention.

The Opposition members slowly melted from the scene with suppressed protests. The treasury benches, expectedly, were simply jubilant.
