Vegam , a pseudo thriller
SVe Shekher launches his son Ashwin Shekhar in Vegam, a pseudo-thriller 'inspired' by 2004's Cellular. One ferverently wished however, that he should have opted for a low-budgeted comedy instead of this pseudo-thriller.

Vambuchanda has lacklustre music
D Imman has failed to make the music of Vambuchanda interesting. The five-track album cannot be called even distant cousins of Kathakali songs. The film is directed by Raj Kapoor and has Satyaraj, Udaykiran and Divya in the lead.

Happy Days -- Go for it!
Sekhar Kammula's Happy Days bring back memories of college life. This clean entertainer has good characterisation and natural performances by the debutantes and others.

Malaikkottai is avoidable

Sarath Kumar can't save Nam Nadu
The film is a family entertainer, and steers clear of sex and violence. But somehow, it also guarantees that many of the main characters in the film act incredibly stupid.

Vijayadasami offers nothing new
Director Samudra does not experiment with the script. He makes a frame-to-frame copy of the Tamil film Sivakasi. Even the wardrobe of the lead couple, the dialogues and music is the same.

Milana is entertaining
Puneet Raj Kumar's mature performance and the comedy sequences make Milana an entertaining presentation. Director Prakash scores in the second half of the film. Mano Murthy comes out with two melodious songs.
