Mysskin is a director with a difference. Not only in the films he makes, but also in the way he conducts himself.

When he found that he had no money to compete with big banners in promoting his film, he decided to go to each town and paste the poster of his new film Onaiyum Aattinkuttiyum on the street walls.

His film has received excellent reviews and the word of mouth publicity has been great.

He was in Coimbatore at 3 in the morning one day, sticking up his movie posters.

The director later moved to Trichy where he pasted the posters at the bus stand. He will move on to Salem, Madurai, etc from there.

One of the attractions of the films is maestro Ilayaraja's background score. The director felt everyone should have the right to enjoy it. So, he has been giving away the audio CD's of the original score to music lovers when he visits theatres.

The CDs are given free, but from those who are willing to pay, Mysskin collects donations for Vasantham, a school for mentally challenged children in Chennai.
