Will these Sanjay Dutt films get affected by his verdict?

Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced to a five years imprisonment by the Supreme Court, as his conviction under the Arms Act in 1993 Mumbai blasts case has been upheld.

The verdict may lead to quite a big loss to the industry, as the 53-year-old actor has three films on floor.

We take a look at the films that may be affected by the verdict. 

Policegiri

A remake of 2003 Tamil hit film Sammy, the film has Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai in the lead.

Directed by K S Ravikumar the film is 95 percent complete and was slated to release on June 14.

Ironically, Dutt plays the role of a cop in the film.

Peekay

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt gave his biggest hits with director Rajkumar Hirani in the Munnabhai series, and has teamed up with him again for his upcoming film Peekay.

The film stars Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, but Dutt has a small but important role in it.

The shooting is currently in progress in a small town called Mandawa in Rajasthan.

It was scheduled to release during Christmas.

Ungli

Directed by Rensil D'Silva of Kurbaan fame and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Ungli stars Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut and Neha Dhupia.

The film is 70 percent complete and was scheduled to release later this year.

Zanjeer

Apoorva Lakhia, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Ram CharanTej

In Apoorva Lakhia's Zanjeer remake, Sanjay Dutt plays iconic character of Sher Khan which was originally essayed by veteran actor Pran.

Although the film is touted as the launch of Ram Charan Teja, Dutts look in the film has generated a lot of buzz.

The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prakash Raj and was scheduled to release in May.
