Cheering for Mumbai Heroes

Salman Khan, who was the captain for the Mumbai Heroes team, lost the curtain raiser cricket match of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). Actor Venkatesh headed the South Superstars team. Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is an initiative which combines the two popular forms of entertainment -- cinema and cricket.

Salman informed, 'V lost the match, the south team played well, thr is all was a 1st time n next time, next time!!!' The actor also posted a picture.

Sallu teased his teammate, actor Aashish Chaudhry, as he tweeted, 'Ashish chaudhry was playing fr venky's team, mumbai heroes is sponsored by venky's chicken n ashish thought it was venky the south actor hehe.'

Genelia D'Souza, who was cheering for the Mumbai Heroes, seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed herself. 'Fantastic match last nite bet d south superstars n Mumbai heroes. Wat a match, wat spirit, wat crowd, thoroughly enjoyed being der,' she tweeted.

Aashish Chowdhry seemed very impressed with Genelia's cheerleader skills. 'FYI, GENIE IS D BESTEST CHEERLEADER FOR ANY TEAM. She wuz the best thing about the match.. The south industry also wanted to steal her from us.. Mumbai Heroes love her..!!' he posted.

Abhishek Bachchan, who has worked worked with his father in quite a few films, and Rishi Kapoor in Dilli 6, recently shot with Vinod Khanna in Players.

Just did my 1st shot with Vinod uncle for players. I can now proudly say that I've worked with AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY!! awesomeness!!' he informed.

Bollywood cheers for Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh has a lot of fan following among our Bollywood stars, especially after his performance in the India vs Ireland cricket match on Sunday.

Shahid Kapoor enjoyed the movie Black Swan, and tweeted about it. 'BLACK SWAN .... Stunningly poetic .. What a violent interpretation of the serene swan lake .. Bravo!!!!!!! In awe... Total respect.'
