Kareena Kapoor has taken over as Madhur Bhandarkar's new leading lady for Heroine after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan announced her pregnancy and went on maternity leave.

As the buzz hots up around the film -- Arjun Rampal had recently got his part upgraded from a supporting role to a central character -- we stumbled upon a picture of Kareena in her Heroine avatar.

And boy does she look good!

But then, so did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This photograph was back from the days when Ash was very much a part of Heroine.

The actress's big hair and dramatic makeup make her avatar radically different from Kareena's but she looks equally glamorous.

If we brush aside (no pun intended) some touch ups, this is one helluva snapshot!
