After attending parties and hobnobbing with global celebrities, Sonam Kapoor made a red carpet appearance for the closing ceremony of the 65th Cannes International Film Festival and the premiere of Audrey Tatou-starrer French film Therese Desqueyroux on May 27.

The actress put all speculation of a joint red carpet appearance with fellow L'Oreal brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to rest as she arrived solo.

The desi fashionista wore an Alexander McQueen black gown with an overlay that was strikingly similar to her Jean Paul Gaultier gown from last year's Cannes Debut.

Sonam was probably channelling the Morticia Addams look with the voluminous black dress and red lips.

The Players actress had attended the Chopard party on May 24 in another black number.

After a widely appreciated debut gown, this was a bit of a letdown from Sonam.

Sonam later attended the Winners Dinner Arrivals in a red Dolce & Gabbana dress and paired it with red pumps.

The actress teamed the dress with a headgear and big earrings. She could fare slightly better with appropriate make up.

The actress had also tweeted a picture from a L'Oreal interview at Cannes.

She wore a printed skirt for the occasion.
