SRK: Will start workout for six packs once I recover

Defying warnings about his health, Shah Rukh Khan is working non-stop on his upcoming film Chennai Express.

‘Sleepy eyes, tired shoulders, pitch black coffees, decisions pending, nites unending & still smiles abound during the last leg of film. Lov it,’ the 47-year-old actor tweeted.

He also took time out to chat with fans. When someone quizzed him about his shoulder injury, he replied: ‘shoulder is sore...very hurtful. But will quell in 4 weeks or so.’

When another fan asked if he will start working on his six packs again, he wrote: ‘will start workout once I recover from shoulder surgery.’

His company Red Chillies Entertainment is doing the VFX for Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 3 starring Hrithik Roshan. ‘We r honoured that Mr.Rakesh Roshan chose our company redchillies vfx...we will make them proud,’ he added.

Meanwhile, he has started promoting Chennai Express on television. He recently visited the sets of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. ‘Such simplicity and love on the sets of Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma.Learnt to look at life simply. Now half workday over...next half starts,’ he tweeted.

Nandita Das: Dark is beautiful

In a world of fairness creams, Nandita Das has come in support of an awareness campaign called Dark Is Beautiful. The campaign seeks to draw attention to the unjust effects of skin colour bias and also celebrates the beauty and diversity of all skin tones.

Filmmaker Onir shared a poster of the campaign and tweeted: ‘STAY UNFAIR- STAY BEAUTIFUL/ super campaign by Nandita Das about Beauty is in discovering yourself and being yourself :)’ 

Meanwhile, sitar player Anoushka Shankar supported Proud Not Primitive campaign which shows that tribal peoples are not stuck in the past. ‘I just joined the Proud Not Primitive campaign – challenging prejudices toward tribal people in India www.notprimitive.in Get involved!’ she tweeted with a picture of her. 

Farhan Akhtar continues to Rock On!

After the success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, actor-singer Farhan Akhtar is revisiting his 2008 hit film Rock On! and busy preparing for his Rock On concert in Kolkata.

‘Kolkata... Get ready... 4th Aug... We're coming to Rock your city,’ he tweeted.

Meanwhile, he launched his wife Adhuna Akhtar’s store in Gurgaon and shared a picture of them together. ‘here's a pic with @bbluntindia at the opening of the b blunt mini in Gurgaon. Congrats yet again,’ he tweeted.

Farhan will be next seen in Shaadi Ke Side Effects opposite Vidya Balan.

We must visit Aditi Restaurant to show support'

Bollywood stars tweeted their support for a Mumbai restaurant called Aditi, which was forcefully shut down by Congress workers as it had printed a message on their bills slamming the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for imposing service tax on AC restaurants.

Pritish Nandy: ‘Must all visit #AditiRestaurant in Parel to show our support for them against this brute show of force by Congress workers. In fact #AditiRestaurant is close to where I opened my first office in Parel. We often went there in the afternoons.’

Shekhar Kapur: ‘Wow!! this restaurant is getting popular #aditirestaurant I'm going 2 eat there ... ummm.. where is it ?’

Kailash Kher: ‘Thank God social media is not #Aditi Restaurant. Devoted patriotics would shut us to express n speak our heart as democratics. What Freedom.’

This week the theme on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaaa 6 is item songs, and judge Madhuri Dixit couldn’t resist from dancing with contestants.
