The Jab Tak Hai Jaan team wanted to visit Jalandhar for emotional reasons, as this was the city where Yash Chopra did his schooling and college.

Chopra had planned the trip to Jalandhar for the film promotions but unfortunately, his untimely death made sure he could not be a part of it.
