Director Puri Jagannath is on cloud nine as his script of Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, starring Amitabh Bachchan, is being placed in the archives of The Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts, Los Angeles.

Puri reacts to this achievement by saying, "A script penned by a Telugu director earning a pride of place in the Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts, Los Angeles, which awards the world-renowned Oscars, is really great. When I heard the news from the Big B, I felt very happy. I adore Amitabh, he is a great icon for me. At a time when I feel honoured for making a film with such a great artiste, my script earning a place in the Oscar's archives is really a great honour. I am very happy in this regard."

Allari Naresh, Sharwanand and Shriya will come together shortly in a film to be produced by Vamsikrishna Srinivas and directed by Narayana, who has also scripted it.

Naresh and Sharwanand acted together in Krish Jagarlamudi's Gamyam (released in February 2008).

Shriya will act with Naresh and Sharwanand for the first time.

It's a case of interesting casting and one hopes that Narayana weaves a good tale too.
