Rajnikanth watches Kochadaiyaan

Kochadaiyaan starring Rajniknath, R Sarathkumar, Deepika Padukone, Nassar, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi, Shobana, and Rukmini, is finally ready.

Directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, Rajnikanth's second daughter, Kochadaiyaan is said to be Asia's first performance capturing film using the same technology that was used in Avatar and Tin Tin.

The shooting of the film started in March 2012 in Pinewood Studios, London, and was completed in 25 days. It was in Pinewood Studios that Hollywood films like the James Bond series, Harry Potter series and other well known films were shot.

The final schedule was done in Trivandrum and the production house says that the entire film shoot was completed by mid 2012.

Some of the well known technicians associated with the film are designer Neeta Lulla, chroegraphers Saroj Khan, Chinni Prakash, Raju Sundaram, sound designer Resul Pookutty and music composter A R Rahman.

The story, screenplay and dialogues are by K S Ravikumar.  

The fully edited movie was viewed by Rajnikanth, Soundarya, and K S Ravikumar and his entire team, on February 28. The press release says that Rajnikanth was elated after seeing the film.

K S Ravikumar said, "The film was thrilling, big in canvas and much larger in grandeur than I ever anticipated."

Director Soundarya was "in seventh heaven" after getting the feedback from her father, superstar Rajinikanth, about her contribution and efforts.

Dubbing, re-recording and special effects will start on March 15 simultaneously in London, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

The film will have a worldwide release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. It is a Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited Mega Production presented by Eros International Media Limited.
