Tamannaah and Naga Chaitanya in Tadakha

Akkineni Nagarjuna is proud of his son Naga Chaitanya’s recent release Tadakha which has scored a hit.

Beaming with happiness and pride Nag said at a press conference, “I heard the good news of the success of Tadakha when I was shooting in Europe for Bhai. I shot with enthusiasm. I’m proud of Chaitanya and I’m happy for him.

“Bellamkonda Suresh bought a good film for Chaitanya and thanks to Dolly (Kishore Paradasani), the director, all the corrections were made in the Telugu film. I liked everything about the film.

“The brother-sentiment always works in Telugu cinema. The relationship between Chaitanya and Sunil, and the song picturisations were handled well by Dolly. The action sequences were thrilling, particularly the rain fight choreographed by Ram-Lakshman.”

Nag has seen the Tamil version too and felt the Telugu version was better.

Now, three generations of Akkinenis will be seen shortly in Manam, directed by Vikram Kumar.

Nikesha Patel

Nikesha Patel made her debut with Pawan Kalyan in Komaram Puli, in 2010. The movie just sank and this girl from London almost vanished from the cinematic horizon.

Nikesha was said to be doing some Kannada films and a Tamil film in between.

There seems to be happy tidings for her in 2013. Nikesha is acting in Kalyan Ram’s Om, and M S Raju’s Telugu film RUM (Rambha, Urvashi Menaka) with Trisha, Isha Chawla and Charmee.

Besides this, she has been cast opposite Gautham Karthik, who hit the headlines with a dream debut in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film Kadal (Kadali in Telugu). The film is to be directed by Ravi Thyagarajan, an associate of Priyadarsan. She also has a Tamil and Malayalam project on hand. Looks like the going is good for Nikesha right now.
